Posted on 28 February 2012 by Content Manager
Debate on the Firearms Act (Ammunition Control) Bill 2012 was adjourned on Wednesday night in the Legislative Council, and it cannot be debated again until at least 6 March when the House sits again.
This gives us more time to intensify the pressure on all politicians. The more pressure they feel, the more likely they are to support amendment of the Bill. As Parliament is not sitting local members will be at home, in their electorates, so should be reachable for meetings and phone conversations.
It is vital that we put intense pressure on all politicians over this Bill. To that end, we've compiled a resource to help you write the most effective letter possible. Click on this link to see it - and then act on it.
