Anger over government approval of illegal wind farms

Posted on 16 December 2011 by Content Manager

A submission against the O'Farrell Government's rubber stamping of the construction of 18 illegal wind farms across NSW under its own version of the controversial Part 3A planning laws will be handed over to the NSW Planning Minister by Dr. Alan Watts and other supporters on Monday, 19 December at 11:00am outside Governor Macquarie Tower.

A copy of the submission, which shows that wind farms breach the Government's own environmental laws, will be made available to the media.

The following persons will be in attendance and available for interview by the media on the day:

  • Farmer, rural GP and submission author Dr. Alan Watts
  • Upper House MLC, The Hon. Robert Borsak, Member of the Shooters and Fishers Party; and
  • Federal Liberal Member for Hume, Mr Alby Schultz MP, on the O'Farrell Government's performance on this issue.
